Description/Songs: Xéliba was born in 1993 a a result of the colaboration o several musicians coming from other bands of traditional and other styles of music and it has the main purpose of preserving the asturien cultural heritage.
All tunes and songs performed by Xéliba are traditional or
composed in the ‘asturien way’ and they are all played with acoustic instruments either traditional ( asturien bagpipe, diatonic accordion, wooden flute, percussions ) or with instruments common in folk music world-wide ( acoustic guitar, bouzouki ).
